Keno is drawn four times a day, every day, at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM NZ time. You can buy into a draw right up until it begins. We publish the winning numbers and the multiplier on this page within minutes of each draw.
Compare the numbers you played against the 20 drawn above. How many you need to match depends on your prize group - the number of numbers you chose to play on that line. Every Keno draw has a multiplier attached - 1.5, 2, 3, 5 or 10 - shown alongside each result above. It only affects your prize if you added Multiplier to your ticket, which doubles the ticket cost. If you did, any prize on that line is multiplied by the value drawn.
Prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date, after which they're forfeited and the money goes into Lotto NZ's prize reserve fund.
Keno has no rolling jackpot - prizes are fixed by prize group and stake, so there's nothing to carry over. There is one cap: if the combined value of all prizes for matching 7 of 7, 8 of 8, 8 of 9, 9 of 9, 9 of 10 and 10 of 10 exceeds $2.5 million in a single draw, Multiplier included, those prizes are scaled back proportionally.
