Making Sense of Your Bullseye Results

Draw Schedule & When Results Are Published

Bullseye is drawn once a day, every day, at 6:00 PM NZ time. The result usually appears around 6:10 PM, and we publish the winning number on this page as soon as it's verified.

Checking Your Ticket

Compare your six-digit number against the winning number above. You don't need to match it exactly - anything within 50,000 either side wins something, and the closer you land, the higher the division. The ranges table above shows exactly which numbers took each division in this draw. For how the divisions work in general, see our Bullseye guide. Looking for an older ticket? Browse the full Bullseye results archive.

Numbers Near 000000 and 999999

One thing worth knowing when you check a ticket: the numbers run in a loop. For Bullseye, 999999 sits directly next to 000000 - think of a clock face, where 12 is next to 1. So if the winning number is 000001 and you played 999998, you're three numbers away and in Division 2, not almost a million away.

Ticket Validity & Claiming a Prize

Prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date, after which they're forfeited and the money goes into Lotto NZ's prize reserve fund.

How the Jackpot Moves

Division 1 starts at $100,000 and grows by $5,000 for every day it goes unwon, up to $400,000. At that point the next draw is Must Be Won: if nobody matches the number exactly, the whole Division 1 pool drops down and is shared among the winners in the next division that has any. Division 2 is different from the rest - a fixed $10,000 rather than a share of the pool, capped at $250,000 across the draw. See our Bullseye statistics for how often Division 1 has actually been won.

Bullseye Results FAQ

Every day at 6:00 PM. The result usually appears around 6:10 PM and we publish it here as soon as it's verified.
Match the winning number exactly and you take Division 1. Miss it and you can still win - anything within 50,000 either side falls into one of the five lower divisions, and the closer you are, the more you win.
Division 2 covers 1-5 numbers either side of the winning number, Division 3 covers 6-50, Division 4 covers 51-500, Division 5 covers 501-5,000, and Division 6 covers 5,001-50,000. The exact ranges for each draw are listed with the result above.
It makes no difference. The numbers run in a loop, so 999999 sits next to 000000. If the winning number is 000001 and you played 999998, you're three away and in Division 2.
That means nobody matched the winning number exactly that night, so the prize carries into the next draw. It grows by $5,000 a day up to $400,000, at which point the next draw is Must Be Won.
Use the archive link below the list - it holds every draw we've recorded, each with its own prize breakdown.
12 months from the draw date. After that the prize is forfeited and the money goes into the prize reserve fund, so it's worth checking older tickets sooner rather than later.
